Andrew initially planned to work in a factory and have a long career in the corporate world. After getting his engineering degree from UC Berkeley and his International MBA degree from Tsinghua University & MIT, everything looks to be set up perfectly for him.
While working in his corporate job, Andrew learned photography by accident and fell in love with it. Photography soon became his passion and obsession. Despite not having any art-related background, Andrew kept practicing his craft on his free time because of his love for photography.
Andrew's passion and dedication led him to win prestigious photography awards. This paved the way for him to become a well-recognized, international award-winning photographer while he was still working in his corporate job!
Feeling he can make more impact in this world by doing what he loves rather than following the corporate path, Andrew decided to make a 180-degree turn in his career. He decided to build a business based on his passion: photography.
Combining his love for travel and his experience in the corporate world, Andrew firmly established himself in the fine art travel, nature and commercial photography field.
Since then, Andrew has had the privilege to work with some of the world’s top organizations, including Disney, National Geographic, Government Ministries, and Embassies worldwide. He’s also one of Sony’s digital imaging ambassadors in the Sony Alpha Guru program. Andrew has completed numerous global projects and often get requests to share his photography experience by conducting photography workshops.
Currently, Andrew’s work has been exhibited in museums, galleries, and major publications in more than 15 countries. His fine art photography prints have been acquired and treasured by private collectors worldwide.
